Shades Of Truth

A poem

Credit: George Lamptey @ Westow Park, London

I have been, am and hope to be

the gemstone to the worshipper
seeking solace in my peace

a world of safe haven
to the restful bird
knowingly free of the heavy reasons to exist

a quiet resource
where all souls
lonely
contemplative
hurried
strong, yet weak
come to bring their thoughts
grey karma to release

a beam of gleaming stars
giving inspiration
simple conversations
halos of wisdom
where time is time
changing paths of followers
raising heart fires
creating new joyful waves

the meeting
yellow
storms of primrose
crackling beyond the midnight sky
a stepping stone
to unknown adventure
together we move forward
through trustful lanes

yes
will always be
am
beauty in stillness
